Umbrella Impact’s “10 to WIN” Project, our phase two project, empowers ten children from low to moderate-income families to obtain essential financial knowledge and skills through practice and hands-on learning. We focus on practicing financial skills, character building, and community engagement. Our unique curriculum promotes children’a active citizenship by encouraging them to contribute to the community, stimulating a sense of social responsibility and connectedness. Workshops on budgeting, saving, managing debt, and investing are a few of our topics for practice. In addition to building character, leadership, and financial knowledge, there are opportunities to assist in keeping the environment clean. Children learn the importance of redistributing wealth, nurturing self and others, and community engagement.
